Beloved, You came to visit today,
Perched in the crab apple tree
Covered with white billowy puffs of snow,
Laid out like cotton to soften prickliness.
Even the birds delight in your outstretched arms.
There is Light so intense and fiery that it bores into my heart,
And I laugh at the diamonds sent from Heaven,
Woven into that gorgeous blanketed white snow.
There’s a wealth in these diamonds,
That will melt away the arid earth and those of us in famine.
It will feed underground streams.
